Can the P104-100 video card be used not for mining?
Now among the popular cards on the Yandex market P104-100 1607Mhz PCI-E 1.1 4096Mb, these are cards released specifically for mining, are miners still buying them? I thought that mining on cards is no longer profitable (I'm not a miner).
Now I'm building a server, and the programmer asked me to put a graphics accelerator with CUDA there for some work with accelerating the "PGStrom" database, and for the "PyCUDA" python.
The GPU is also needed for programs that run on a terminal server and require a GPU.
Will the P104-100 1607Mhz PCI-E 1.1 4096Mb card fit? does it cost 2 times less than its game counterpart, or buy a game one? Will PCI-E 1.1 affect CUDA? And how are things with the drivers for ubuntu (the card will be thrown through KVM)?
