Can the intercom be controlled via wireless networks?

When someone calls the intercom, I hear how the relay most likely switches, which, when picking up the handset (that is, pressing the button that the handset holds), allows you to press the button and open the front door. I think it can be done remotely?

What is the problem? Disassemble the handset, find out what the button closes (most likely it changes the line resistance), connect a key or relay in parallel with the button and organize the control logic to your liking - even on loose, even on any microcontroller, even from a computer.

As usual with the formation of any TK:
1. Clearly formulate your Wishlist.
2. Designate a budget - how much money and time you are willing to spend.
The simplest solution now is to buy Fedor the robot, who returned from the ISS, and put him next to the intercom. When the guests arrive and ring the intercom, tell him to open it.

There was an article on Habré: https://habr.com/ru/post/406491/
It seems quite clear there.
