Does it really matter which registrar to choose? (except price)

When you buy a domain, domain registration data and ns-records are uploaded to the domain's root zone servers. After it is updated, the domain becomes available. The upload speed to the root zone and the zone update speed are different. International zones work faster, often everything starts up in minutes. But the time will differ even for the same registrar on the same zone.
