Can't start Live Kali Linux from a flash drive (select boot image did not authenticate)?

I installed Live Kali 2020 on a USB flash drive. I selected a USB flash drive in the boot menu, and at startup the error "select boot image did not authenticate". I read that they say enable Legacy Boot, but is it safe?
