Can't format flash drive on mac?

When trying to format the USB flash drive with Disk Utility, it gives an error: "An error occurred while erasing the disk. Error: Failed to open the device." If only one partition is formatted: "posix reports could not complete the operation access denied". If you try to fix the drive: "This drive cannot be restored using Disk Utility. Back up as many files as possible, format the drive, and restore files from backups." At the same time, I can upload and download files from a USB flash drive.

I found a solution myself. Changed the format before erasing.
