Asterisk

Can't find the room number in the external conference, where to dig?

Comrades!
There was such a situation. There is a raised Asterisk 16.0.0 internal, external calls go through normally. The internal conference room also works without problems. The problem occurs when I try to call an external number and then dial the room number. I call some Moscow number, for example 8-499, etc., there a pleasant female voice says: dial the room number and press # - I dial, press, the transfer is in progress and the girl says: sorry, this room does not exist.
I take my mobile phone, dial the same thing and get into the room without any problems.
Tell me where to dig in this matter? What could it be: setting up a handset, setting up Asterisk or what?
UPD: I think I understand what the problem is, but I don’t know how to fix it yet. Apparently, after I press #, the functionality of this key built into our Asterisk works (tobish call transfer), and not the one where I call.
Do I understand correctly that I just need to replace the functionality that hangs on the # button on my asterisk with some other button? Or is it possible to somehow configure it so that it does not intercept the # value?
