Can't compile driver on Linux?
Like this:
/home/foror/Downloads/2011_0210_RT73_Linux_STA_Drv1.1.0.5/Module/rtmp_init.c: In function 'RTMPInitAdapterBlock':
/home/foror/Downloads/2011_0210_RT73_Linux_STA_Drv1.1.0.5/Module/rtmp_init.c:99 : error: implicit declaration of function 'init_MUTEX'

make [1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.38-11-generic-pae'
make: *** [all] Error 2
I tried to replace init_MUTEX and init_MUTEX_LOCKED with sema_init function with 1 and 0 arguments, respectively. Compiled, but when I start the device everything falls down and Linux crashes.
The device is dwa-110, the drivers are not quite native, but here linux-wless.passys.nl/query_part.php?brandname=D-Link it is in the green zone. On Windows with ralink firewood it works fine.
Downloaded this RT2501USB(RT73:RT2571W/RT2573/RT2671) from www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2
Ubuntu 11.04, followed these instructions help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/RalinkRT73

And can you find out why you started all this if the driver is already in the kernel since 2.6.27?
Works fine for me on ubuntu server 9. Didn't add anything extra.
Are you the same salesman who convinced me that this network card will never work on ubuntu?
Look on the bourgeois Internet, for sure someone else had the same problem.
