Can such a network scheme work?

Hello. Whether prompt such network circuit can work? Internet without PPPoE. It is clear that if you put the router in place of the switch, everything works. But I wonder if such a scheme can work or if the signal will jump from one place to another and vice versa.

@yarotama

depends on how the provider implements access. it is possible that both devices will have access if the provider provides IP addresses from a pool of non-routable addresses on the Internet, NATs them on their router and does not worry about the number of subscriber devices. but this is not common and only among small local providers.

Looking at what goal to pursue.
If this is a multicast on a TV set to watch and receive Internet from a router, then yes (if the provider, of course, has IPTV implemented at all).
If this is the Internet on both the TV set and the router, then no.
