Can Metallb work with a static pool of IP addresses?

I have a network with a static IP address pool and I want to set up Metallb in Layer 2 mode. Whether a question it can work with a static pool of addresses? As far as I know, it can only work with DHCP. If so, then how to configure services in k8s?
