Can mail be faked?
I have a little problem, I need to fake the date of receipt of the letter and the sender (For informational purposes! XD). I have read about everything. Raised the mail server and so on. etc. But the problem is that you need to change the date. In my opinion, this is my opinion, this can only be done by going to the mail and changing the page code. Who has ideas about changing the date, or if there are no ideas, how can it be changed automatically every time the mail page is opened?

In fact, everything is very simple. And the imap protocol will help us to access e-mail.
1. Set up a mail client (for example, thunderbird) to interact with mail via imap.
2. We perform synchronization, we close the client.
3. Locally change the necessary data in the body of the letter (and the sender's address, and the date, and whatever we want).
4. We delete our letter on the server (via the web interface).
5. Launch the mail client, perform synchronization.
Just did this with thunderbird+outlook.com. The method works.
