Can I write articles about licensed software?

The bottom line is that there is very good software, but damn expensive, so our friend torrent solves this problem. For a couple of years, a few self-written manuals for dummies have accumulated and I would like to put them on display. But already once a letter came from the legal entity of this very software that someone informed (either the former boss, or someone else) and it would not be very good for me if it pops up somewhere else that I use it =(
Maybe someone And since when have they been looking for small users?

The question is frankly incomprehensible. You own a copy of some unnamed program, not in the name of a privilege from its owner. He threatens you with something unmentioned there.
What do you want to hear from us?
If advice, then, of course, I would advise not to write anything good about them - why would you advertise at your own expense: a) other people's non-free programs in general; b) programs whose owners are so copyistic that even users (and not distributors) do not hesitate to send threats; c) programs whose owners threaten you personally.
Or did you decide to fawn over them a little? I don't think they appreciate your efforts.
