Can I use my Chromecast or Miracast device to read e-books on my TV screen?

I want to project e-books from my Android phone onto the TV screen (epub, pdf, maybe comics).

  1. Is it possible?
  2. Is it possible to use arbitrary reader programs?
  3. Is it convenient?
  4. In particular, are there any noticeable lags?
  5. Is it possible to get the native resolution on the TV if it is different from the resolution of the phone?

1. Yes, via Miracast. The entire screen is streamed. It is not convenient to play toys - a delay of 1-2 seconds (delay, no lag, almost a constant value).
2. Anything.
3. Watch videos and photos - super, read - hardly.
4. There is a delay of a couple of seconds.
5. It seems to me that it is quite logical if the TV itself decides which resolution is better - and stretches or compresses to the desired resolution. I ran FullHD on FullHD.
