The processors in laptops are soldered, you can’t solder them with your own hands without special equipment, you can only kill them, specialists for such work will take half the cost of a laptop, if you find any at all. Therefore, the solution is simple:
Step 1. You take a laptop and sell it
Step 2. You go to the store and buy another

Neuroware Soldered laptops have been seen for a long time, back in the last century. Now everything seems to be sorted out and changed.
ashkerr How the decision to sell and buy a new one is logical. Replacing the CPU I don't think will give you much of a performance boost. For me, put the SSD and RAM to the maximum. A lightweight Linux distribution would be nice too, but not required.

I researched the issue a couple of weeks ago.
In 95% of cases, in more or less fresh laptops, the processor can be removed. But.
But it is practically impossible to buy a used stone, and a new one will not be interesting at all in value.
So it’s true, it’s easier to sell and buy fresher, since on some Avito the choice of very fresh or slightly used laptops is impressive.

So, I changed the processor, I didn’t have to solder anything, everything changes easily and simply, the main thing is not to rush into assembly.
The problem is different, the processor is defined as a Genuine Intel® CPU and now there are BSODs
with error 0x000000124, as I understand it is a hardware error. I tried reinstalling, but unfortunately the problem didn't work.
The BIOS version is the latest from the manufacturer, the BIOS is greatly curtailed, there aren’t really any settings.
Does anyone have any ideas what can be done?
