You just have the wrong question.

I was in my university years and a little later I worked on the backend on node.js and .NET. Unity mastered independently in his spare time. By the time I got my first junior position, I had a portfolio with several screenshots of game sketches. Experience on Unity was then less than 2 months + a simple toy written earlier. Now I work mainly with VFX (particle system) and a little bit of logic, while studying engine tools.
Backend and hardware in this area is a big advantage, they can really put you in jail for developing server logic and not even a junior.
