Can I sell other people's 3D models?

Good afternoon. I can't find the answer to my question on the internet. Can I take a free 3D model of an unknown author from one stock and put it up for sale on another stock? Doesn't this violate copyright? is it punishable? Thanks in advance for your replies.

No.
Violates.
Punishable.
You just steal someone else's work and try to cut down on this easy money.
But money is easy and the bottle is heavy.

Depending on the license
If it's something like creative commons (allowing change, leaving the authorship list, but giving rights to everyone) - then yes, you can
In some cases, it may be difficult to use the old names, since they themselves may be subject to different licenses and rules .
So study the licenses under which platforms distribute digital goods.

Thanks for answers. I read that most of the models are distributed under a Royalty Free license, under the terms of which direct resale is prohibited, it can only be integrated into commercial projects (games for example).
