Can I replace a 25V capacitor with a 35V one?
Hello.
Swollen capacitor at the monitor power supply. 1000 MF and 25V, 105C.
I didn’t find the same in the store, the seller said that it’s possible to replace nothing with 35V. Well, I bought 1000MF 35V 105C. Now I'm wondering if this can be changed or not?

Can. The main thing is that the capacitance matches and the allowable voltage is NOT LESS.
In the monitor - it is NECESSARY to change 25 to 35. For they cost the power supply of the inverter, but it is not directly stabilized, only 5V stabilizes (in 90% of cases). And so, in some places it came across that it should be 18V nominally, but it is actually 20-22V, and when the monitor goes into hibernation in the absence of a signal, it rises just to almost 25V, and the capacitors swell together.
