Can I receive files via infrared on modern phones (xiaomi)?

On the hands of redmi note 8 and a very old Nokia.
From the old Nokia, you need to somehow pull out the pictures.
As an option, find a data cable, put the old Nokia software on Windows, but I didn’t find any official versions and it probably doesn’t work on the latest Windows, I’ll try to figure it out later.

The second option is to transmit through the infrared port, but I don’t know if the current infrared devices can receive information? Like heard it is possible to "feed" them commands/signals of panels?
Maybe a separate application is needed for the files? I will be glad for any help!

It will be easier to insert a SIM card into Nokia and transfer via the Internet

If you mean an infrared port, then not all smarts have it, but if there is, as far as I know, it is now used to control equipment and I doubt about data transfer.
