Can I get paid for freelance services through the exchange, directly?

Tell me about popular freelance services sites. Is it possible to search for orders and offer your price to customers, and then use payment not through the exchange, but agree with the customer on payment directly? (say, moving communication from the website to Skype).
Or is it mandatory to make all transactions through the site? Otherwise, I would like to take cheap orders and pay the exchange at rates for the opportunity to respond to an order, but I don’t want to pay and wait for the exchange to send money minus interest at the initial stages.
Will the customer be able to complete the order and leave feedback in this case? Or is it mandatory that only through the site, with the so-called safe deal?
Which exchanges allow this?

Officially - it is impossible, the rules of the services prohibit it. They get a lot of income from the commission for paying for the work.
Unofficially - everyone does it as soon as it becomes profitable.
For example, a big client and a project for a year - what's the point of paying a commission all this time?
Even the "preferential" 10% on upwork does not win compared to 0% direct transfers and fewer tax problems.

Most major exchanges prohibit payment outside the service, for violation - a lifetime blocking of the account. Moreover, many large exchanges have a very negative attitude even to correspondence outside the service.
There are a lot of freelance sites where orders are simply placed, and communication takes place directly with the customer. But who will you run to after you give the order, and the customer decides not to pay you? By paying a commission, you get a guarantee that you will receive your money for the work performed in any case and it's worth it.

Anything is possible if you're careful. But if you decide to work directly with the client, no one can guarantee you payment. Better of course to work through the stock exchange. On this exchange you can bring your customers. Free bets and commissions are minimal. I would advise starting with such an exchange.
