Can I connect two monitors to my laptop via HDMI?

I have a laptop and it has one HDMI output to which the monitor is connected. Is it possible to buy such a splitter, plug it into a laptop and connect two monitors through it. Will it work?

Not so easy. It is this adapter that will duplicate the image between its outputs.
You need to buy a special stray that pretends to be either a USB monitor or an external vidyukha

It will work through such an adapter, but the picture on both monitors will be the same - this is usually used if you need to connect several TVs or projectors.
But personally, with the same problem, I am interested in a signal divider to connect 2 FHD monitors to it, and in the system they were seen as WHD and each showed its own part of the picture.
Has anyone faced this?
