Can I charge my laptop with a more powerful adapter?

Can I charge my Acer Swift 5 SF515-51T laptop , which is designed to be charged with a 45W adapter, with a 65W adapter ? There used to be a myth that you can’t do this, but, on the other hand, a charging device still won’t take more than it needs. In addition, now there are controllers even in USB cables.
