Can I carry a computer in a suitcase on a train?

Is it possible to transport a computer on a train in a suitcase? I am traveling by train for the first time. I will carry without a case, with a monitor. Please tell me if you need to wrap any details, etc.

Well, just wrap the monitor. What does it mean to carry without a case? Just individual pieces? Then each in a package, and the package in a hard box

I transported a motorcycle for spare parts on a train in a couple of visits, to say nothing about a computer.

I remember in the early 2000s, on the "500 cheerful" in a blanket wrapped in a knot, I carried it on the third shelf along with a standard table-book. I leaned the case of the system unit sideways against the CRT monitor and wrapped it in a blanket - though it was hard to carry, throw in
. Now my system unit is the size of two packs of 5.25 "floppies, although the monitor is already completely different in size

Believe it or not, five years ago I was dragging a computer by train for 4+ thousand kilometers in the same way :)
Mine was really in a case, but compact, plus a 24-inch monitor, plus a trifle like a mouse-keyboard. Everything was wrapped in a shaggy blanket, a suitcase of the maximum size.
In principle, I drove normally, but most of the way there was a free shelf in the compartment. This saved me, because the suitcase did not enter the luggage compartment under the shelf.
By the way, I also leaned the monitor against the system unit with a screen, where the dimensions turned out to be just about the same. Only I also slipped a couple of sheets of corrugated cardboard cut out of a monitor box between them. And I wrapped the whole thing with tape so that it would not hang out.

Kek. I myself drove a computer about 3 years ago.
The most important thing is to wrap everything well so that it doesn’t break for sure. If possible, place in a hard box. If not, just in a suitcase, but I carried it in a bag.
Just take it with you in a compartment and go

Pfff ... computer :-)
I sent and received a monoblock and a monitor and all sorts of matrices and laptops through the Russian Post - everything is fine. The main thing is to pack well.
