Can GoPro HERO3 be powered by eneloops?
I have a set of four batteries, according to the declared characteristics, they hold up to -20 C.
Tell me, fellow experts, if I assemble a battery from them and power USB, I won’t burn the camera in this way? Do I need to use converters/drivers? (not very strong in electronics, but I can accurately solder and make boards)

Directly (4 * 1.2 = 4.8) will not work, there the controller cuts off the charge if the voltage is below 4.9, or 5 volts (for me).
I got out of this situation like this: I gutted the Chinese battery, threw out the element itself from it. I soldered wires to the terminals on the case, and they were already connected to a sealed box with 18650. In total, we have: the tightness of the whole structure, small size and weight (the difference is not very noticeable on the head), a fourfold increase in recording time. Inside the box is NCR18650B (3400mAh), a couple is still in your pocket.
