Can Github be trusted?

There is a link to an open application on Github, but I do not understand how this can be checked. Is this "source code" true? I just don't understand any of it. Paranoia with applications from third-party resources.

Но вы можете просто доверять автору приложения.
Либо доверять тому, кто сможет проверить исходники на Github (заодно убедиться, что исходники именно те) - то есть вашему другу или знакомому программисту.
