Can Figma on Windows open its own files normally?

This program works somehow strangely: when you double-click on your own file, it opens some kind of Recent window where you can see a list of files that I worked with before (there is no need). Either the program is crooked, or I misunderstand something. Adobe XD, by the way, also suffers from a similar problem - for some reason, recent files (aka Recent) can be searched endlessly, although they are stored in the same folder, but restarting solves the problem.

Figma has not yet made it possible to open Figma files through File Explorer, all files are opened through the program:
Well, this is done because people do not save individual .fig files, since all files are saved on the cloud and live there indefinitely.
