Can DropBox be used as a file server?

There is a need to store about a terabyte of files on the network and at any time a program from the VDS server on Windows could access them. At the moment, in order not to buy such an expensive hosting, I had to organize a web server from my home computer. When a file needs the right file, it requests the file from my computer and downloads it to itself, then gives the user the download.
But there was an idea, in order not to keep your computer constantly on, maybe you can somehow use dropbox? The main problem is that Dropbox generates its links in some of its interface, in which you also need to press the "Download" button in order for the download to go. In addition, how to make links from dropbox to more than 100 thousand files? On each click "Share link"?

Can - Can I store static files for a website on Dropbox?
I advise you to immediately take Pro, because there the limit is higher than that of the free one. Here is what dropbox writes .
Free access: 20GB per day.
Pro: 200GB.

Dropbox should not be used for such purposes. In addition to its interface for downloading files, there is also a restriction on access to them. If a file is downloaded too much, DB will temporarily block access to it.
Maybe Cloud Storage from Selectel?
