Can coffesctipt compile jquery code to native javascript?

is it possible to do this or are there other Gulp plugins or is it easier to write only javascript without jquery?

Coffescript is purely syntactic sugar, it does not do any other transformations and does not add any libraries, much less remove them. To get rid of jQuery, you have to work with your hands.
