Can --assume-clean be used in this case?

Good afternoon. Raid1 will be created using mdadm on the same partitions of the same hard drives. The disks are pre-recorded completely with zeros and placed by gparted.
Because the spot for the raid is clean, as far as I understand - you can use --assume-clean.
Correct if wrong.

Well, have you read the documentation?
This switch tells mdadm not to resync the array. It is used mainly when restoring arrays, when you collect it from scratch or from broken disks and do not want to overwrite the existing information.
In your case, I would not use this key. Although - your will.
