Can an SFP module be used without a pair?
Hello. Now I have a network diagram like this: from the provider's optical switch (according to his statement, smart) an optical fiber goes to my house, comes to the GR-120Az media converter (with an SC connector) and from it comes via twisted pair to my Mikrotik RB3011. I want to do this: plug an SFP module with an SC connector into my microt, pull out the optics with this connector from the media converter and plug it directly into the SFP module on the microt (without any change in the scheme from the provider (for example, installing another media converter or installing a pair with my SFP module)).
Is it possible to do this? Will it work? Will I spoil (burn) something on my side or on the side of my provider?

GR-120Az - 100Mbit converter.
Most Mikrotiks, including the 3011, cannot handle 100m SFPs.
So you can’t do without the assistance of a provider: you need a gig port and a module in the switch or a gig converter from his side.
Although, of course, it may be that now there is a gig optical port of one hundred square meters clamped programmatically, or maybe not, it’s not visible from here
