Can an additional SSD drive be installed in the Asus G73?

So, in addition to the main 1 TB HDD, I would like to install a 256 GB SSD, there seems to be an additional slot. But I would like to first make sure that this is really possible. It would also be great to get recommendations on choosing such an SSD for installing the OS and the main software (Visual Studio, Windows 10, MS Sql Server).

There is some experience of using Intel s3500, Samsung 840/850 EVO/PRO in servers and home appliances. I recommend the 850 EVO - relatively low cost drives with good performance and good reliability.
