Can a magnet be mailed?

I'm running a contest and giving away fridge magnets. Is it possible to send by mail, for example, 100 letters with magnets. Each envelope contains 1 magnet. Is this against any rules or laws?
And what is the best way to do this so that the letters do not stick together when sent?

You can only send magnets as a parcel. For international shipments, there is also the “Small Packet” service.

Fridge magnets are not that powerful - sending magnets from hard drives is already hell for mail ...
You can wrap the magnets themselves with a small layer of foam - and it will be safer - and it will be easier to separate letters from each other, although I'm sure that they they will not stick together if each magnet is wrapped with at least a 5 mm layer of foam. As an option, buy a thicker layer and an incision in it, into which you stick a magnet.

It is quite possible.
About stickiness: this is more of a postal task, after receiving the envelopes they sort them, and so on.

I remember once in childhood, I put an ordinary audio cassette into an envelope, climbed through the mail slot of the box with great effort :)
True, I still don’t know whether that letter reached or not.

I have a magnet hanging on the refrigerator of some service center for household appliances. They made it like this: a self-adhesive with an advertisement is stuck on a thin, about 2 mm thick magnetic rubber. The area of the magnet is a matchbox. This magnet holds well (but not tightly) on the refrigerator and in general I liked it. I accidentally never brushed it off, and the desire to stick it was decided by a good design of the advertisement.
And this magnet came to me by letter complete with a detailed price list.

A few years ago I didn't even get a letter with a small stack of photographs, up to 5 mm thick. I think the parcel will be more reliable.
