Can a GPLv3 licensed library be used on an MIT (or Apache 2.0) licensed project?
I'm building a WordPress plugin that uses a GPLv3 licensed npm module on the front, while also using a bunch of other MIT licensed modules and Apache 2.0. Can I release my plugin under the MIT (or Apache 2.0) license, or am I now required to release it only under the GPLv3 license?

I will answer myself from what I read in the last 2 hours.
MIT/Apache 2.0 - licenses suggest that the application/library may be proprietary - i.e. the creator has the right to change the license at any time, and release subsequent versions under a commercial license. The use of any GNU GPL-licensed component automatically makes the product in which that component was used licensed under the GNU GPL license. And if suddenly the owner wants to follow. version of the product to throw out this component and make its product proprietary - then, by law, it can no longer do this. Those. if you use GPLv3, then your project becomes GPLv3 forever. Correct me if I wrote something wrong
IANAL. TINLA.

Yes. Whatever the "project" is, works under all "MIT licenses" [0] - well, at least under the two most common ones: Expat [1] and X11 [2] - are compatible with works under the GNU GPL version 3 .
> Can I release my plug-in under the MIT (or Apache 2.0) license...
*Your* work (the one that belongs to you by virtue of your authorship or for any other reason) you are free to publish on any terms.
*Not* your work you can use in accordance with the contract. None of the ones you listed (some kind of "MIT license", the second Apache license, the third GNU GPL) does not allow you to discard or or ignore the conditions prescribed in it.
