Can a developer write a bug report in the system?

I found a bug in my already submitted task for testing, the tester did not get to it or overlooked it. To write off the time correctly, you need to create a task in the tracker. Is it correct if I
myself write a bug report on my task and assign it to myself, or is it desirable for the tester to do this?
ps The task is currently being tested.

Quite. No one in their right mind will punish for this, but just in case, check with the team how much this is the norm.
