Camcorder file system?
Good afternoon, I have TANTOS video cameras in my hands, it became interesting how to open their file system in order to change the web interface.
Just curious to see how it all works =)

In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1) Open the camera.
2) Find the memory chip (there will be something like this: AT25DF161-SH-T)
3) Google this chip (by chip size and marking), find the datasheet.
4) From the datasheet, you learn commands for reading / writing to the chip (usually using the SPI protocol)
5) Read the chip, determine the file system (most likely, there is FAT).
6) Edit the web interface.
7) Rejoice
This is all provided that there is no encryption on the FS, but this is unlikely to happen in a conventional camera.
In the firmware, you can flash the web interface separately. Inside the firmware file there is web.tar.gz
But it is difficult to sort through the firmware.
