call to undefined function mysql_connect() error in ssh?

I tried to call a php file (which needs a connection to the mysql database) from under ssh - I got an error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in...
I don’t understand why the error occurs, if the sites on the server work fine, there is no such error ...
What could be the reason for the error in ssh?

console php uses its own (separate) configs.
