C# for Android and IOS?
Hello!
In general, I am currently a front-end developer (+/- junior) and so far I like everything. However, it became interesting to find out about mobile development (just to feel it, maybe this is my calling :)). So I knew and I know about such a language as C # and the question arises whether it is worth learning + using it for mobile development. I know about Java and Swift and I know that one language is not for everything, but still.
So here are 2 questions:
1. How do I get started learning mobile development
2. What should I learn for mobile development
3. Is it worth it?
4. Is C# suitable for Android and IOS development? (PS as far as I know it is suitable (Xamarin))

4. Suitable.
Xamarin: pros and cons (machine translation). Requires Visual Studio.
As for the rest, you need to decide for yourself.
Judging by the marked decision, you want to hear confirmation of your words.
But starting to study Sharp for the sake of mobile development sounds very strange, especially when vacancies are only decreasing. It is usually easier to bring zamarin to the knowledge of Sharp than to learn the technology that few people need from scratch. However, even if we consider the mariner, he still needs the minimum knowledge of the native (swift, obzhs / kotlin, java).
Since you are a front-ender anyway, look in the direction of flutter, the transition will be soft, and it really becomes a replacement for all cross-platform solutions, demand is growing by leaps and bounds.
And in order to develop for iOS, you still need the Apple technique (or hack) in any case. And if it is not, can it be easier to postpone this moment for later? If you have Windows and Android, it's easier to start in Android/Flutter.
Not suitable, Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS, if you really want to dive into the cross-platform corner, this is React Native. Xamarian is highly discouraged by several familiar developers who wrote on it spat. The same Promsvyaz Bank rewrote the application from this shit to native.
