Building a new Haswell or Skylake system?

Hello everyone, I’m assembling the system for at least another 2-3 years ahead, performance in games is almost of no interest . I’m interested in the
life of the architecture and those processes, it’s clear that 771 socket equipment is still in the data center.
If you assemble the system today, what should you choose Haswell or Skylake?
