ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 Motherboard
[AM3+, AMD 990X, AMD SB950, 4xDDR3-2133MHz, 3xPCI-Ex16, Audio 7.1, Standard ATX] AMD
FX-8350 OEM Processor
[AM3+, 8x4000MHz, L2 - 8MB, L3 - 8MB, 2xDDR3-1866MHz]
RAM Kingston HyperX Savage [HX318C9SRK4/32] 32GB
[DDR3, 8GBx4, 1866MHz, PC14900, 9-10-11- 35]
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming [GTX 970 GAMING 4G]
[PCI-E 3.0, 4GB, 256bit, GDDR5, HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-I, DVI-D]
Q:
Is the build balanced enough?
Will there be a "bottle neck" effect?
Isn't 32 gig too "kosher"?
Is 500 watts enough for this assembly, + 1 SDD, + 2 HDD WD 4 TB.

Enough, the bottle neck, if it overtakes, is not very painful.
If the plans include gaming in fresh titles, then that’s it. Although 16 may be enough.
That's enough, but it's better to play it safe and take it at 650. Although the GTX 970 alone claims a power consumption of up to 500 watts, in practice this cannot be repeated at home.
I'm only interested in one thing: why do such an assembly on obviously old hardware in a store ? AM3+ is more dead than alive, there is nothing new on it and never will be. This is easier to buy from the hands. Are you just an AMD fanatic? Or the necessary critical mass for the purchase has been accumulated?
It's just that with an eye to the future, it's better to wait for either Zen, or take something from Intel based on LGA1151. The same Core i3-6100, despite only two physical cores, goes very well for modern gaming titles even in conjunction with the GTX 980 Ti.

"Will 500 watts be enough for this assembly" - if FSP or something of the same level, then that's enough.
What is your computer for? If games, then it is preferable to assemble on Intel now, it will be a little more productive for the same money (although I myself am a fan of AMD)
