Bug with pressing Control in Chrome on Ubuntu?

In Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10, and even in earlier versions, I noticed such a bug: if I entered something in the wrong layout, then I quickly erased it by holding the backspace, and switched the layout (it works for me on the right Control), then all the erased text comes back . Moreover, this does not happen on all sites, but exactly in the VK dialogs and on a couple of others, I don’t remember exactly.
Also, the left Control doesn't behave this way, only the right one.

Yes, they have a new keyboard switch there. Wildly buggy. It is treated by installing a more recent version of Ubuntu or a more recent version of Chrome. Or you can get confused, demolish the standard switch and try a non-standard one. But it didn't work for me, I had to install the latest Ubuntu.
