Broken clipboard (Android 4.0)?

For no apparent reason, the clipboard on the SGT 10.1 tablet with firmware 4.0.4 stopped working.
Symptoms: when you try to copy text in any of the applications, it crashes with the corresponding system notification. And the BO itself remains pristine empty. Installing third-party BO managers, for obvious reasons, does not give an effect. I really don't want to do a factory reset.
Q: Has anyone had this and how to fix it?

Lay out the error stack at least, otherwise there is absolutely no information.

TheEternal would like to know how to get it. All I see is the "Chrome application has suddenly closed" window and two buttons.
