I decided to replace the VK paste with a press, broke off the metal next to the chip. After installation in the PC, there is no image, although the VK itself is heated and the coolers work. Vidyuha 1080ti.

If you only broke it off , and you still have it, then I think this is not a big problem, the main thing is to give it to a person who has extensive experience , and the necessary soldering station and microscope (there is work for 15 minutes). I think they will do it without problems. Don’t do it yourself, don’t give it to your friends, because if you overheat neighboring elements, you will sell your card only for spare parts.
