Breadcrumbs on Vue?

Learning recursive components - codepen . There is a task to make breadcrumbs from a drop-down list, for example - a codepen - here it is a regular select, when you select element 1 or 2, a drop-down list with child elements, respectively, of element 1 or 2, should appear on the right. And so on ad infinitum. How to implement using recursion? And without using a select? Also, the word element selection only appears on the 1st selection. I've been sitting on this for a very long time and so far no progress
