box-shadow and firefox?

I would like to know the experience of colleagues who are struggling with the brakes of the current version of ff when using box-shadow in elements. In addition to the classic ways to create a shadow in the old ways, you can also do it with -moz-border-image, but this method also has pitfalls, such as the need to adjust the background, especially when used together with rounded corners.
Are there any good universal solutions?

If you want to use exactly box-shadow, then you will have to put up with the brakes, because in FF this property hits performance very hard, there's nothing you can do - there is no universal solution. This is a feature of FireFox and the way out is to limit the use of the property or to find alternatives.
-moz-border-image - as an option. If the size of the block plus or minus is fixed, then I would apply the laziest solution in the world and put a picture under the block across the entire width through the :after pseudo-class. Or the good old ways.
