Both ctrl keys don't work. What is the problem?

Fujitsu laptop. Both ctrl keys
suddenly stopped working . Turned on the virtual keyboard - when you press ctrl, the button is not highlighted. Checked for viruses - nothing. In the properties of the keyboard, it says that "the device is working properly." What is the reason? Thank you very much in advance!
