Books similar to K&R?

When I studied programming, I really liked the well-known book "The C Programming Language" by Kernighan and Ritchie. I liked the good examples and the lack of water (i.e. there were no unnecessary basics, the book was written for people who already have a basic).
I would like to know if there are other similar books on C/C++ in this regard, i.e. without water for beginners, not too voluminous, with good examples.
The subject of the book is not so important to me as long as it is limited to programming and related areas.

For C++, I can advise: C++ Programming Standards. C++ In-Depth Series - Sutter, Alexandrescu or Scott Myers - Using C++ Effectively - Small Books, Concise and To the Point

One resource recommended the book immediately after Kernighan. I didn’t watch it myself, but I advise :)
According to the description, it seems like it’s not bad and there are examples.

I have not yet seen a better textbook than Stephen Prata on C:
