If you are too lazy to google at least on the Toaster, then read "Computer Networks" by Kurose, I liked it.
You can also "Linux Command Line" from a man named Tom, google it once or twice.
You can also read Oliferov (it’s also easy to google), but these are university-level books, written in a complex language with a bias in physics and academics in general.

There are no "mandatory books", and there cannot be. The times when information could be obtained from a single sacred source are long gone.
