Blocked start page change in Firefox

Friends gave the laptop for inspection.

Mozilla Firefox has a home page mygame.org.ua installed (via the bit.ly shortcut). I change the start page in the settings, after restarting the browser, the start page leading to mygame.org.ua is restored again.

I checked my computer for viruses with 2 antiviruses, it did not help. Disabled all plugins, didn't help. I looked in the registry for the name of the site, did not find it. I don't know what to do, where to go next.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Try the following:
1. Set your home page.
2. Open the prefs.js file in your profile.
3. find the line with the page you installed (it should look something like this -user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", " www.whatever.com/ "
4. Create a user.js file and paste this line into it.
5. Save file user.js in the same folder as prefs.js
6.PROFIT!!!

@zelenin

for certain in user.js also setup lies.
You remove by removing from pref.js. when the browser loads, it picks up the settings from user.js

Perhaps the files with the config (user.js, pref.js) have a read-only flag, check
