Block ads on iphone with AdGuard?

Good day, most likely I have a very strange question, but still.
Tired of constant ads in the safari browser on the iPhone, I found an article on the Internet where they recommend installing either an adblock or AdGuard, I installed the adblock initially - but it didn’t help (then I deleted it), after which I installed AdGuard and everything seems to be clear. ))
So that's the question?

Is this program reliable, how much resources does it take, does it not send any information somewhere, maybe it is not recommended to install it at all ?.
Why such questions - I remember putting some kind of ad blocking programs so they, on the contrary, ate resources and did not really block ads.

The program is reliable. I hope this is about AdGuard Pro.
And the information is sent somewhere by Apple itself (you need to come to terms with this).
