Blank screen when debugging via usb in chrome dev tools?

I'm trying to enable debugging mode for mobile development: I turn on development mode on the phone, enable usb debugging, open the browser on the mobile, then on the computer in chrome://inspect/#devices you can see the device, open tabs on it too, but if you click on inspect some tab, an empty window pops up, but in theory there should be a page open on the device. What could be the problem?
