Blades: Cisco or IBM?
We are currently in the process of choosing a new blade. Until recently, the choice was between IBM Flex and HP C7000. Moreover, they leaned more towards IBM.
But then one of the integrators woke up and rolled out to us an offer that we should not refuse.
GPL prices are about the same. (+-$2000)
IBM:
Flex Enterprise Chassis
Storwize 5000
X240 Compute Module x4
512 GB RAM (DDR3)
E5-2670 v2 x4
1.2 TB SAS 10K 2.5'' x 14
FC5022 SAN Switch X2
EN2092 Ethernet Switch x2
FC3052 SAN Adapter x4
EN2024 Ethernet Adapter X4
Cisco:
UCS 5108
EMC VNX 5200
B200M4
256*4=1024 GB RAM (DDR4)
E5-2670 v3 x2 per node x4
1TB NL-SAS 7.2K 2.5" x 25 (Drives for our tasks are more than enough)
UCS 2208XP x2
UCS 6248 x2
UCS VIC 1240 x4
As you can see, Cisco looks a little more interesting. Does their solution have any pitfalls?
Key requirement - reliability.

Well, listen, in vain you probably came to the toaster with this. All the same, competence is needed here, frankly, very high.
You are better at the integrator and take an interest, he obviously such pieces of iron more often in "hands spit".
