Black screen when the computer is on: what is the reason?
Good evening everyone. Recently, I got the idea to build a computer on the b550 chipset, I took the asrok b550m hdv. Initially, I installed a very weak cooler purely to check the performance of the bundle. The bundle as such worked, but there were many problems (some USB ports did not work, there was no Internet, mouse jerkiness). Then I bought a new powerful cooler for the processor, installed it without removing the processor (but removed the video card so as not to interfere), then the bolt fell out of the mother board, when I twisted the screws of the motherboard into the case and sunk deep into the case, I rubbed the case and the bolt fell out. After it is difficult to install the cooler, I turn on the computer and there is a black screen. I removed the cooler, reviewed whether I didn’t crush anything - it looked great, without any jambs, reassembled with the thought that I could forget something, after which the computer again gives a black screen with no signs of life. Coolers are spinning The hard drive works, the backlight works but the screen is black. The processor is definitely heating up, I checked it in this state without a cooler with a finger. It is noteworthy that the video card that was initially started up about 2-3 seconds after starting all the coolers and the PC as a whole, then I tried to install the old video card, it only moved its blades when the PC was turned on and stands motionless while other elements supposedly work. I can not understand what is the reason and trouble, what to look for. Hope for your understanding she only moved the blades when the PC was turned on and stands motionless while other elements supposedly work. Connect the monitor directly through the mat. board, not through the video card.
If there is "light", then the problem is in the video card.
